Shrouding in my haze
there's a feeling I waste
rusting up my bones
all the harmonies have gone
shadows that promise me
a never ending road
faces betray me
long-hold breathing fall
lies disguised in white
and lapses that I hide away
from the curse that I embrace
flaming in the sun
there's the rotten human hope
no gold at goal there's
long-hold breathing fall
shade by shade we face alone
the longest path we've ever roamed
with no gloves and with no aid
there's a long cross for everyone
fade and fade and fading hearts
into the coloured flames of dawn
once I had a home
in my drawing wide the world
not a single thought
was guarded in my halls
as fog through the clouds
they will fade
but breathing could be a change.
