I got a little story I wanna tell ya'llnnSee it was September first, 1999, the day of my death.nMy back was on the cold concrete as I took my last breath.nAnd I saw my body layin on the ground as my soul hovered above it,nDamn Eyedea, you was a good lookin cat.nnBut anyway, another day at 18 years of age.nSteppin to heavens' gates, anxious to see what god's got to say.nMaybe he'll give me a gift for always saying my prayer.nBut he might send me downstairs for last years' love affair...nWell, who cares? nYou know, right now it's all a mystery.nI mean, I'll find out when I get there, nuntil then I can't let it get to me.nI'm keepin my cool, besides, everybody dies,nI'll just follow the white light like they do in the movies.nnIt seemed like hours went by and I'm still travellin,nRight towards the brightness, now this ain't heaven or hell,nThis realm is lifeless.nAnd I hate to say it, but this wild goose chase had me bored.nNo directions, no clues, and no idea what I was in for.nBut then forward I kept floatin, and in a quick flash,nThe light split directly in half and created a forked path.nRepresenting each side was an angel, nNow whats the task I have to untangle to meet the big man in charge, I asked.nAnd the one to the right of me saidnOne of us always lies, and one always tells the truth.nAsk the right one the right question, and he'll direct you to heaven.nBut if you ask the wrong one, son, farewell,nYou're going straight to, well, ya'll get the picture.nnAnd the one on the left,nTold me not to listen to his fibs, nHe said it ain't that complicated to find out where god lives.nHe told me to follow his path, and tell god he said hi,nThen the one on my right jumped in and told me not to believe his lies,nAnd I'm like jesus fucking christ!nI didn't care much for life, nBut I'd have tried to stay alive forever if I knew this is what death was like.nI was never good at problem solving,nEspecially in emergencies,nI get a tad bit nervous when concerned with burning for eternity.nnBut anyways, I asked which one lied and they pointed at each other.nAnd thinking I had it, I asked them the name of my mother.nOne said he don't know, the other said he knownBut he can't tell me.nGod damn, this is gonna be hard.nAnd so I asked like thirty questions and I still wasn't sure.nAnd bein me I got pissed,nAnd gave them pricks a few good words.nFrustrated with it all, I turned my back to the angels,nAnd when I walked away,nTo my suprise,nI found myself in heaven.nnY' know what I'm sayin?nI kinda just turned around from the whole situation,nRejecting everything that was going on.nThat's how I walked into heaven.nnI walked away, walked away (repeat)nWalked straight into heaven (repeat)
