Kickin around downtown. nI see the people in the passing window. nAnd their hungry, tired faces betray they wish they had somewhere better to go. nWell, you know I'm no different. nWith my hands deep in my pockets thinking it don't really matter where they end up tonight. nBecause it's kind of hard to be insane in the city nEven though that every single city I've lived in nIt's pavement walks formed the circles I walked in. It just feels the same. And it feels like nothings changed. nI'm comin down to town. nGoin from house to house. nYou know we just can't seem to get it right and I just don't wanna see you tonight. nBecause it's all the same buildings. nAnd it's all the same dirty streets.nOur little version of America. nIt don't really mean shit to me. nSometimes I feel more than a city can hold. nSometimes I feel more than a city can hold! nBecause it's kinda hard to be insane in the city. nEven though that every single city I've lived in it's pavement walks formed the circles that I walk in. nIt just feels the same.nCan't live with the people I live with.nCan't work with the people that I work with.nSome people say I've just got an attitude.nSome people say I'm just hard to deal with.nI'm just tryin to survive!nI've done some things that I'm not so proud of.nNo, you never want to hurt the people you love.nSometimes you just gotta look them in the eye and apologize.
