Die Schöpfung neigt sich erschöpft dem End
Und der Schöpfer schöpfte Mut, den Namen „Gott sein Eigen nennt.
Und doch am Schluss entstellt von Menschen,
Als Wortgewalt der werdenden Welt! Grenzen
Taten sich auf! Tatendrang hör auf!
Doch anscheinend war des Gottes Wort durch Sinne getrübt,
Denn er sah, dass es gut war und sich am 7. Tag in Geduld übt.
Doch der Schein trügt, das Wort lügt, doch der gute Gott vergnügt.
Schnell lernte Mensch alles als Mittel zum Zweck zu betrachten.
Nach dem Mittel zum Zweck zu trachten
Und den Zweck der Mittel zu entmachten - doch sachte!
Lug und Trug entpuppte sich als genug Unfug,
Der überwog und bald setzte der entsetzte Gott
Der Worte die Wortgewalten in Gang und es begann:
Über uns kam die Sintflut,
Die uns dorthin trug
Wo wir heute sind.
Gerettet durch Noah sah ein blinder Passagier, entrechtet zwar,
Doch des Wortes bemächtigt war
Endlich Land I'm Nu
Und zu Worte kam redlich Manifou.
