[fast forwarded monologue]
my boss at the restaurant gave me the old pep talk again this morning
another one starting; hard work is the manner of the desperate poverty he was born in
so he always wanted a new car
and now he's got two
always wanted his own house
so now he has a house, a cabin and a condo in the mountains
said he always wanted a boat
and now he's got thirty three of them
he told me I if only I've got what it takes to manage this place, maybe even buy it someday if i keep my nose to the stone
and i said, I know what you mean mark, well I was born in Ethiopia, and I didn't eat my first meal until I was 10, thought I'd be struggling with bony death of Africa for the rest of my pathetic life, but one day, I happened to find this cat scratching the bark from a new tree, while young girls, that stock sailors tops???
(its not worth it)
??? in suits come down from the luxury of cabins in the large cruise ship bound for New York City
I knew it was my only chance, so i did it,
so I slept in a small box with spiders and bats, caught VD and gangrene and crickets
made it to America, and got a job as a doorman for a ??
scraped together enough money for a sex change and skin transplant
and finally once I was pure and white and ???
(its not worth it)
???, I came here Mark, and bullshitted you into giving me this job.
(ooooahhhhhoooaahhhhoooooooaahhhhhoohhhhh)
